Climate

The climate in the UAE varies between seasons.

• The coastal region tends to be hot and humid in summer (June - September) and warm and very pleasant in winter (October - May).
• Winter temperatures are between 26 ^oC and 30 ^oC degrees during the day and between 12 ^oC and 16 ^oC degrees at night.

Language

Arabic is the official language of UAE. However, English is spoken widely in business circles. Clothes Light clothes are better suited for the climate.

The national currency is UAE Dirhams (AED).

Media

The information sector of the UAE is characterised by its highly visible presence. The UAE has four radio stations and four TV stations. These channels transmit in Arabic and English. In addition, it has a number of newspapers and periodicals in English and Arabic.
